Eligibility Code for NTA NEET 2026

  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 01 Candidates who are appearing in their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination and awaiting results may apply for NEET UG. However, admission to MBBS, BDS, or other undergraduate medical courses will only be granted if they successfully meet the required qualifying marks before the counseling process begins.
  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 02 Applicants who have completed a Higher Secondary, Senior Secondary, or Indian School Certificate examination equivalent to the 10+2 level after 12 years of study are eligible. The final two years must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English, and practical work in the science subjects, along with Mathematics or another elective subject.
  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 03 Candidates who have passed an Intermediate or Pre-Degree Science examination from a recognized university, board, or examining authority with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, practical components, and English as a mandatory subject may apply.
  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 04 Students who have cleared a Pre-Professional or Pre-Medical examination after Higher Secondary, Pre-University, or an equivalent qualification are eligible, provided their studies included Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, practical examinations, and English.
  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 05 Candidates who have successfully completed the first year of a three-year degree program from a recognized university may qualify if they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with practical training. They must also have passed their previous qualifying examination with these subjects and English.
  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 06 Applicants holding a B.Sc. degree from a recognized Indian university can apply if they studied at least two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology), or Biotechnology. They must also have passed their earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • NEET UG Eligibility Code 07 Candidates who have completed any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Intermediate Science level may also be eligible. Such qualifications should include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, practical assessments in these subjects, and English during the final two years of study.
