The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is being conducted from 27 April to 30 May 2026 across 200+ cities in India in multiple shifts. This recruitment aims to fill 25,487 vacancies for the posts of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB.

How to Download SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2026
Follow these simple steps to download your hall ticket:

Step 1 – Visit the Official Website Go to www.ssc.gov.in and click on the “Admit Card” section or the “Login or Register” button at the top right of the homepage.
Step 2 – Select the Correct Exam Link Click on the link for — “Download Admit Card for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 (Paper-I)”.
Step 3 – Enter Login Credentials Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number, Password / Date of Birth, and the Captcha Code shown on screen.
Step 4 – Download the Admit Card After logging in, click on the “Hall Ticket Download” link. Your admit card will appear on screen as a PDF.
Step 5 – Save and Print Download the PDF and save a copy on your device. Take a clear colour printout on A4-size paper. Carry it to the exam centre — do not carry a blurry or dark printout.

Exam Day Instructions
Keep these points in mind on your exam day:
- Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time.
- Late entry is strictly prohibited — no exceptions will be made.

- Sit only on the seat allotted to you.
- Read all on-screen instructions carefully before starting the exam.

Selection Process After CBT
Qualifying the CBT is just the first step. The complete selection process is:
Stage 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT) Written objective exam of 80 questions, 160 marks, in 60 minutes.
Stage 2 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Males: Run 5 km in 24 minutes. Females: Run 1.6 km in 8.5 minutes. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET.
Stage 3 – Physical Standard Test (PST) Height check: Males min. 170 cm, Females min. 157 cm (relaxation for hill state candidates). Chest (Males only): 80 cm unexpanded with minimum 5 cm expansion.
Stage 4 – Detailed Medical Examination (DME) Vision: 6/6 without glasses. No colour blindness. Full fitness as per CAPF medical standards.
Stage 5 – Document Verification (DV) Verification of original certificates for educational qualification, domicile, category, age, and other required documents.
